We are only human, it is ok to let it out once in awhile to have fun as long as it doesn't affect others Speaking of affecting others, we totally hijacked this thread!! Please accept my apology Now then back to Morons story telling
Man I remember those days. College is an unbelievable expense. It damn near killed me, LOL. but it was worth it to see my son get his masters.
That's why I bought a Ferrari when I still could. Guess where part of that college fund will be coming from? On the other hand, I am still paying for my wife's MBA degree loan. She picked some celebrity MBA school call Pepperdine... cost an arm and a leg. Didn't bother pay it off since the interests is only 2.5%, lower than inflation, I am making money on that loan. LOL!
LOL! that's ok. I think after 8 pages this shall come to a rest. Unless someone else want to pick it up where we left off.
In closing, this is how I normally drive. The horn honk you hear is from the parking lot not at me. Notice my hand position on the steering wheel, even though the car is a stick shift, never rest your hand of the shift lever.
Montana was without a speed limit for only a few months, back in the late 20th Century. For three years after repeal of the federal speed limit, Montana had a non-numeric 'reasonable and prudent' limit for passenger cars in daytime in rural areas, and numeric limits for everything else. That was ruled unconstitutionally vague in late 1998. In May 1999, the legislature set a numeric limit of 75 mph.
I think mrpcar understand this quite well, it is just an excuse he had rehearsed to get out of a 180mph ticket
There are plenty of morons out there waiting to be fodder for this thread. They just don't know it yet. (Unfortunately some of them also drive Prii as a "cover"... on a thread I started there was the Prius driver who passed my son on the right hand side in the bike lane in LA... )
I couldn't agree more. It's more dangerous to drive slow because idiots behind the slow one come up short of killing each other to get around. I love it when they finally can go around and end up going like 2 mph faster though!! I just roll with traffic and stay the hell out of the way
There is a Facebook page dedicated to left lane violators in a Prius. LOL!!!! Ha Ha Ha!!! Left Lane Prius | Facebook Another Prius hater, long but funny read. I busted out laughing out loud when I read this. Stuff I Hate: I Hate Toyota Prius Drivers
Holy crap, those are funny! An entire FB page... Freaking awesome! Thanks for the post, an instant pick me up for the day...
Tailgaters and speeders. There are too many people driving while trying to finish off their big Coke or most recent Starbucks purchase and too caffeinated not to speed. You will be much better off to just get out of their way and take it easy in the right lane. There's no "getting even", "teaching a lessor" or messages on your license plate frame that will school anyone on any subject.
A friend in my neighborhood said his wife told him she hates to get stuck behind my Prius. She passed us as we pulled out onto the main street the other day, but we caught up to her at the first red light. She floored it again on the green signal. There are several signals along the route we were taking, and I just stayed in the right lane, watching traffic and signals to maintain as steady a speed as possible, having lost sight of her. Result: as she pulled into the left turn pocket at a shopping center after 2+ miles, we were passing her as we sailed through the green light. I'm sure she thought she got there quicker by not being stuck behind me.
I agree you can't make them change their ways, but a little retaliation do make me feel better though You step on my tail then expect a bite at your ankle. I have not quite mastered the I don't care what you do to me mentality of my 10 years old Labrador Retriever who lets kids jump on him and pull his tail all day.
Hope she got stuck in line at Walmart. I've even got tailgated there with these old bats that push their giant size purses up my a**.
I usually give flatulent reply of disapproval. It's the ultimate response. It backs them off every time.
They're just jealous of the mileage we get and how we get away from the pump less expensively. Loved the Stuff I Hate blog...
