I want this key cover!

The seller on eBay updated with a photo.

 

I contacted the e-Bay seller to see what kind of a deal we could get and the response:

That in $ is for 10 units ($363.75 or $36.38 per unit), 20 units ($705.06 or $35.25 per unit) and 30 units ($1030.63 or $34.35 per unit). Originally $39.98 per unit. Shipping would be additional.

Of course that panic button would be covered. I would probably punch out a hole for it if I got one.

Perhaps Danny would put this in the PC Shop? Or perhaps someone in the central US would like to put together a GB?

Does anyone really ever use the panic button (on purpose, that is)?

 

Never once have I used it on purpose. It's also a bad idea, especially when it would end up attracting zombies.

I would get one but the shipping was cost prohibitive for me. I can't see spending that much on something which is plastic to cover my key fob. If it was aluminium or metal maybe. If the cost + shipping was under 50.00 then yeah.

It's always in my man-purse/backpack.

Well, sometimes I see it for a few seconds while moving it to my pocket and back to the pack.

But it is bright and shiny !! If you like those sort of things...

The seller said he could get a "bag" to US for $30.46. So if we had 10 buyers that would be 36.30 + 3 + shipping from the central site.

 

I would love one however it appears the eBay picture is different than the pic of the fob cover on the first page. The eBay fob cover seems has a rectangular opening for the lock and unlock buttons and the Prius fob buttons look more like a diamond.

I just want to make sure they fit exactly right and other than covering the panic button don't cover the lock and unlock buttons at all.

I'm still trying to figure out why Toyota wouldn't make these for the Prius. I'm sure there would be LOTS of buyers.

I've used it many times, in large parking lots when I forget where I parked the car. Does the trick every time.

 

I'm in for a group buy as well, though would only use the back cover.
