Hello folks, Today, I have become a new owner to a 2012 Prius Four with the Solar Roof package. Drove about 100 miles from the dealership and loving it so far. Primarily bought it because our Acura MDX just guzzles up too much gas!!! 50mpg baby. And the tech on this thing is awesome! Hoping to learn as much as I can about the Prius. Looking to get some accessories, etc! Glad to be here!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! Well, I quickly found some useful information in there. I got suckered into buying the Toyota Platinum extended warrant at MSRP only to find out that I can get it cheaper! Also, my friend was telling me about my insurance company's "Mechanical Breakdown Insurance" which he says is like a bumper to bumper warranty. It has a $250 per incident deductible, so I guess I need to weight that over the non-deductible Toyota warranty. First thing is first. Cancelling the warranty I bought at MSRP!!!
I reviewed the contract for the warranty and it looks like I can just call Toyota Financial Services directly. That's the first thing I'll do on Tuesday!
