    I just got a new to me 2010 prius III. I just wanted to plug Retrofit Solutions for the fantastic HID kit they sold me. Also, thanks to everyone on the forum for the information I have been reading on here the last few months.

    I hope you didn't buy the "H11: Morimoto Elite HID System" from The Retrofit Source.com ?
    If that's the kit you purchased- please don't recommend it to other Gen III owners.

    It's been proven that the H11 bulbs The Retrofit Source uses in that kit have the ground wire oriented in the wrong position which cause shadows on the roadway when installed in the projector system in the Gen III Prius. The Retrofit Source has refused to address the situation (or offer refunds) and we have to buy bulbs elsewhere to use in their kits :mad:

    The Morimoto bulbs looked fine in my GenIII. They were better quality than the DDM bulbs I used and the ground wire shadow was barely noticeable. I'd rather have the shadow than a bulb of questionable quality. I also like supporting TRS. :)
