Hello around here regular is 85. I've seen references to 87 being regular. Any comments? The 85 here is different from E85. Thanks in advance
87 is the octane rating of regular gasoline in the U.S.A. Where is 'around here' ? Octane rating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Fowler, Ohio the main gas station (ok... the only gas station) has 6 options for gas: 85, 87, 89, 91, 93 and 100.
All cars can use lower Octane gas at high altitudes. Octane rating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the flatlands it is. In the mountain states 85 Octane exists because you don't need as much Octane at high altitude.
Interestingly enough, your link leads to exactly the same place as the link I provided above. Amazing. Think anyone will follow it?
When I quote a source, I link that same source. We have enough wild claims that can't be tracked to a source without me adding more. (Heck, we have folks who do not realize they are links)
