Hi All, I really want to get some leather seats and have considered having them re-upholstered but would prefer to just find a wrecked prius with leather and just swap the pieces. This is going to require a lot of patience tho. My questions is, does anyone know if 10-12 interior is all interchangeable or did things change for '12? Thanks in advance.
Why go to all that trouble to swap seats...I had my seats done in Katzkin leather in one day and it was $1200 installed.
pretty sure it would work (don't quote me on it). it's not such a bad idea because you get power seats with the factory leather. i opted for katzkins as well and couldn't be happier; i got black leather, which isn't available stock. i would love to add power seats though...has anyone done this mod??
I have been looking for a wrecked Prius to swap the leather seats, nav, and backup camera from. I have been quoted $1000 for Katzkin seats.
I did get the seats done and the center console and door panels. I arranged it through the dealer and paid the interior man directly.
How about the power seats, is there a way to wire them in on a Three that doesn't have power seats now????
