My 2012 Prius' Mod Blog - Snowflake

Well unfortunately I met with an accident this past summer where a lady cut me off to beat traffic only to slam on her brakes in the middle of the pedestrian crossing zone on the green light for no reason, totaling a vehicle I dearly loved, my Lancer Evo (8.5)- I did a custom nosechop on it eliminating the famous "8" beak.

This car was not stock, but rather was pushing 30 PSI driven daily on E85, Pushing nearly 450whp/440ft lbq... I always thought as well as everyone else, that I'd get hurt on a canyon run or Willow Springs in this car, but some stupid driver that cut me off is what caused me to get into an accident.

My ride prior to the Evo was a VIP'd out GS300 NA-T(HKS GT35R)..Turbo wasn't put on as I picked up the Evo but all the components were there...(Taken off an existing NA-T Vehicle).


Before that was my first car, a Milano Red DC2....

I figured I'll pick up an affordable vehicle, with MPG, and give it to my parents, in a few years as a Thank you... [Which also meant modding meant conservatively done....]....tastefully and not in a gaudy fashion.....But I told myself to mostly stick with OEM: USDM/JDM/EDM offered parts....

So after the accident, and having specifics I wanted in a vehicle:
(keyless start/access), Bluetooth, under 25k, projector headlamps(so I could later , decent-ish mpg, reliable.
The Prius seemed like a clear winner.

I did some shopping around, and I'd like to give a thanks to Eddie Fuentes at DCH Toyota of Torrance, as he gave me a very excellent deal on this vehicle.

And so I guess I was a Prius owner on the evening of July 3rd. Which all my friends were taken by surprise.

Going: WHAAA Jay got a Prius ? No way Jose.....


2 Days Later:

My Tinter- Anthony Lee at Promax Motorsports did my whole car with Ceramic Window Tint (50% Windscreen/ 38% Sides)


Within a week my Suspension Alignment Shop and Trusty Tech Marco @ Song's Alignment lowered my car on H&R's


A few days later I tossed on a set of FRS wheels My 2012 Blizzard White Pearl Prius w/ FRS Wheels + H&R Springs | PriusChat .

A planned mod:
Is a detail / Permanent Sealant/ Coating from GlossWork Paint Protection, Tuan the detailer is very detail oriented and knows how to produce a swirl free vehicle...
I also know how to detail but Tuan has been wanting to bang out a swirl free Prius for awhile now...Hopefully this should be done within a week or 2

Pay off the Prius within the year, graduate school, hopefully a 997 C2s, 996 GT3, 6 Speed Vantage? Or an NSX?
I can get something not practical as the Prius will always be home to use as a DD. And my mom doesn't drive too much.

You can adjust the brightness of it ....via the menu settings

 

Press [R] while pushing the start button.
Press [R] to change color for , [N], and [D]
Press [N] to increase the brightness, press [D] to decrease (can be used when programing [R] and logo)
Press to program the color of [R], press [R] for the color of choice
Press to program the OGS logo, press [R] to change color

 

Something about a high revving 3.2/3.0 NSX with the targa open at streets of willow...or just a C2S hearing it boxer motor roar through each of the gears being rowed back and forth across the H.
