Feel like I got nickle and dimed by dealer, please advice.

    In the future you can always avoid dealership with negative reviews. Sansone has terrible reviews.
    For now, if it was me I would write review about the experience even if I get my deposit by Tuesday. Sharing bad experience can save others from experiencing something similar. Dealer can also improve due to your review.

    About reviews, it seem like there are some dealers who pay 3rd party to generate false reviews for them. These reviews are almost always excellent rated, so it's best to benchmark with negative reviews (recent + frenquency).

    One thing you shoud pay attention.
    There were more bad reviews from Service then Sales. Do not throw off great quote because of bad Service review. I bought my car from a place with mixed reviews, but with little to none sales complaints. Sales team went the distance, great experience.

    Got my money back, will post links to my review of Sansone Toyota soon. Only person I dealt with there who wasn't a vapid, moneygrubbing, neanderthalic mouthbreather was Keran Verma. I would avoid this dealership like the plague.

    For those that don't know, I have been a mechanic most of my life, and Airline Mechanic for the last few decades. I went to the 15 dealerships in my area using toyota.com's radius, plus one back where the folks live, and only found one that passed my experience and critic for sales and service. This process took about two months as I was in no hurry. At my age, I have had it with the bad ones, which most are, foreign and domestic brands. I live in the Dallas Fort Worth TX area and will ONLY recommend Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney. I want nothing and will accept nothing for this referral. There are just the best of both worlds I have seen or dealt with, ever. Use this information or not, I could care less, but I stand behind my word.

    Why did you not use a credit card for your deposit? That seems to be your first mistake. Cash $ does not get you a better price.

    Depends on the dealer. Some will not take a credit card.

    Pat Lobb is pretty iffy IMO. I bought new two cars there and they try to murder you on service charges. They wanted $295 for a transaxle drain and fill when I called today. Not a flush, but a drain and fill on an 06 Prius! I called 2x for quotes to see if the first guy was wrong, but they are consistent.

    About 10 times what it would cost a DIY'er.

    I was just there the last two day helping my Mother-In-Law decide on a new vehicle and purchase fluids/filter for next change while there. Last time I check with my Service Adviser Doug Ranzer, he quoted me $99 for a GEN III. The fluid and washers will cost you $46.44 at the parts dept (see Russ Chadduck) for Gen III. Gen II may be different, but I can not imagine by much. You might want to check back on that. This Dealership is top notch.

    To backspinn. Confirmed the price info you received from Pat Lobb was for a "flush" and requires 12 quarts/liters, not a drain and fill. He had to go to next screen to verify though. Ask for Doug Ranzer, but I believe the 4 qt. drain and fill is still $99. Half that in parts to do it yourself.
