Entune on Prius C

Entune for us iphone users is worthless. Big disappointment in Toyota/Apple. Work it out people! There are millions of iphone users and millions of Toyota drivers. can't we just all get along?

 

got this as well..surprised they were going to send an entire usb stick. thought it would be a download and we use our own usb stick. so that's nice

 

Yeah that is pretty cool, although they are probably little 256MB ones, LOL

 

I received my USB stick today, it is 2GB, and the Entune upgrade took me from 1.7.4 to 2.1.0 and I didn't really have much time to see what was fixed, but the iheartradio, open table, and movie is all there

And the thumb drive is way overboard in design, it has the EnTune logo etched in a steel cover that moves to expose the USB connector and the plastic is the dark orange

The nice thing is for future upgrades it will be pushed from the app on your phone

 

My Prius C3 came to port on August 7th and I received it from the dealer on the 13th. To my surprise, Entunes wasn't updated. I hate to bother the dealer, but I'm wondering when I'm going to get it. I couldn't find anything on the Entune website.

 

You have to call Entune, give them your info and they will ship you out the thumb drive with the update on it. If you dont call you'll be waiting forever.

 

Emailed the other day and said they will ship me the update. Hopefully it works.

 

It's a total bummer. My lame Nokia phone would not work the entune (It's a windows phone and didn't have an entune app available), but it would read my texts to me and let me speak to text through the car and send. My iPhone does not read the texts.
