I've decided to sell my 2012 factory wheels and tires. The wheels have the OEM silver center caps and hubcaps. The tires are Good Year Assurance Fuel Max with 2,700 miles on them. They look like new. I bought after market tires and wheels and don't need them anymore. I'll take $400.00 + shipping. Send me a PM if interested.
The wheels in the pic are drag dr9 16 x 7. I picked them up online at discounttire.com They offer good deals.
How do they feel? I'm interested in that size but want some additional input first. Same width as stock?
How they feel has more to do with tire pressure than size. I run max pressure at 51 psi for max mpg. If you run 32 psi you can expect around 41 mpg vs 51 psi @ 47 mpg (that was my experience). These tires are rated for 51 psi. To me, the stock tires felt softer. I remember the day I got the new lowering springs and tires and how much firmer the ride was. My wife said she couldn't tell. Stock width is 6 inches, I have a 7 inch tire. Tire rack just sent me an ad with a bunch of new wheels. You can really get a great deal with those guys. Discount tire and tire rack have a great sales staff. They will walk you through the process and help you find what your looking for. They will ship to a local business and then install them for you. Make sure they swap out the tpms. I think they cost around $70 each. I paid $1000.00 for my tires and wheels and then sold my stock set for $450.00 on Craigslist. I ended up getting my setup for $550.00. If you are not going to lower your car, then you might want to think about a different size wheel and tire combo. I have no regrets with lowering my car. H&R and TRD springs are great options. You might even be able to negotiate a much lower price if you buy them all at the same time from the same place. Good luck
