Can someone provide photos of the back of both the Head unit and the Standard radio, I want to see any differences in terms of plug connectors. If explanation of what is connected to better. The reason for this thread is that I get a deal to buy a Head Unit, GPS antenna and steering wheel from a PC4 to incorporate in a PC2. If I see is too much complicated go to Aftermarket. Finally what is that box under the Head Unit for in the following diagram?
Ok what do I need in order to use the Head Unit on my Prius C 2 other than the GPS antenna and the voice command botton on the steering wheel?
I found it, now can someone tell me what are the connectors for??? I know # 5, 6, 7, 8 & 10 are in the Standard Radio. But I want to know what are each one do for better undestanding before I go with Aftermarket Head Unit. Please thanks.
Antenna is #8. The box below is the sat radio unit. It is linked from that box to radio via 11 and or 3.
BTW if it was me, I'd go aftermarket, in fact, I am.... The entune isn't worth the hassle/limitations to make it force fit in a PC2.
Is doable, I got the Nav p3 unit working in my p2 after try to figure out everything goes... GPS Antenna can put on top of the center vent hidden.
