We keep spare change in the cupholders, find the "rubber button" release for the hatch to be just as convenient - maybe more so - than a button inside the car, would hide anything small and valuable in the gloveboxes (once closed, who would know there's anything of value in there!), would hide anything large and valuable in the trunk with the tonneau cover pulled over it (plus have tinted windows), and finally if somebody wants it bad enough to steal it they can have it - but hope it's never found, we have full coverage
A Prius Plus got swiped from our local dealer the other week. They left it a few miles away on blocks, took the wheels. I laughed my butt off when I first read a Prius was stolen from a dealer, then it made sense when I realized they wanted the $2500 wheels.
What self respecting car thief would be caught dead in a Prius!??!?!?! They would be toast at the local lock-up!!!! As for the extra change ...I just spend my money as soon as I get it...so no problem there.......
Hence my undercover aspect here and feel at ease - no one looks for me on PC! What is on PC stays on PC!
