Or soon to be. Just ordered my new 2013 Prius. Just moved here from Japan. I'm stationed here in Beaufort, SC. Like everyone else, I'm sure they got the car as a family/gas saver. My wife needed something to drive. So I got her this. Completely new the the HYBRID world. I own gas guzzler...well sort of. I'm still getting 23-25Mpg. Will post pics when I get the car.. Congrats! It's a great car. I think what we lose in speed and power, we gain in cool technology. Hope you and your wife enjoy it. What branch are you in? I spent a year at Shaw in Sumter. Loved the winter there!
Thanks. I'm in the navy. Yeah I read/heard that you lose mileage with bigger rims. But it don't bother me...yet. Plan on some rims(gram lights?). And lowering springs.
Grams are nice looking wheels. The forum has all kinda of info, opinions and pics to help you decide on wheels and springs. The car looks great with the right rims and a little lower. In years and lots of miles, I have yet to see a custom Prius aside from the performance pkg at the dealer. I like bringing West Coast culture to the East and having one a little different than the others.
I like bringing my Japanese influences here. I'm looking at a lot of JDM pieces. When I was in Japan they had ALOT of stuff for the prius. Didn't think I was going to pull the trigger on it though. And unfortunately didn't buy anything for it. I like the little small pieces and subtle mods. I was suppose to buy forester XT, but prius seemed like a better investment.
That's really nice looking. Good pics too. I traded a Corolla S a few months ago on a '12 Three. Wish I waited on the '13! Ground effects are sweet looking with the rims. Enjoy it!
Thanks. The prius was for my wife the sport was for me. The only thing I really don't like is that the entune. Won't work with my iPhone 5. It works with the android phones. But not our iPhones. The calls/music work via Bluetooth, but Internet...we have to plug it in.
Yep, I'm disappointed by the iPhone connection too. I have a 4S and sometimes stream Internet music. If I want iPod music, I have to disconnect the iPod, reconnect and start all over. Even then it's a crap shoot if it works again until I restart the car! I hope the Entune update comes my way to add I ❤ radio. Others have complained too, the proprietary Apple bs.
Andrew, GREAT looking Prius. Really like the white exterior, wheels are hot, overall look. Never heard of a Prius Sport. What did it include? Enjoy!
Thanks -1-. Honestly I didn't know it was a sport. I ordered the sport package and it came with the sport badges. But it's the same Prius, but it comes with some "okay"looking rims with the Michelin rubbers. A lip kit to set it off. As far as I think those are the only differences. The things I want are the HID projectors or LED. Ordered some JDM visors last night. All weather mats Fog lights Tint Other than that I'm saving for a nice set of Volks
