    Hi folks -
I have the T616 interfacing with no problem with the Prius but have one question. I am finding that when I make an outgoing call and hang up, the Prius often thinks I am hung up, but then a few seconds later the phone screen pops back up and the phone is still connected until I hit disconnect again.

Is this something anyone else has experienced?

    Thanks,
    --Dan

Yes, that is a common problem that has been discused here before. I have the same problem, and no problems with anything other than that. It is just some kind of glitch that is either in the Prius or in the Bluetooth or in the phone. SO you will have to take the phone out and push end.

My T610 never had that problem.

My T616 had that problem twice, when I very first connected it (no power-off in between). Neither time was touching the phone to hang up necessary. I simply pressed disconnect on the Multi-Display again. It hasn't happened since.

So based on my experiences, I place blame on the phone. Perhaps physical location or proximity to an interferring device is to blame.

I too have experienced the problem with my T616. I've noticed it when I've called someone and gotten an answering system. Pressing the disconnect button on the steering column appears to cancel the call at first (the audio is interrupted), but then the voice on the other end is heard again seconds later. Pressing the disconnect button a 2nd time always serves to break the connection. For me it's a minor annoyance far outweighed by the benefits of the handsfree communications.

I have the T610 which is basically the same as the T616. I have had the same problem when hanging up from the Prius. You do not have to hit end on the T616, you just need to hit end again if it doesn't hang up the first time. :)

interesting, my T608 hasn't had this particular problem at all.
other problems? often the 1st incoming call i get only works on the cell. sometimes i'll get in the car and dial something just to let the car know i'm here, so from then on all the calls, in either direction work thru the car just fine.

I have the same thing with my T616 but it's less and less of a problem, because the sound quality of phone calls via BT to the Prius is so bad, that I rarely use it anymore.
