I'd love to drive one. Looks like the CitiCar, but better-built. Wouldn't it be nice if the US market would take these on? Can someone explain why the NEVs have to be speed limited? To pass the crash tests?

Oh... and here's the one that I'm hoping to restore soon. http://www.darelldd.com/ev/kewet.htm The newer ones are better looking, believe it or not!
Cute little car! Perfect for getting around town in, much like golf carts that are used in some of the smaller towns around here. I wouldn't want to be on the freeway in that thing though!
If by "cute" you mean fugly, then you bet! The windows are sliders, there is one knob on the otherwise blank dash for lights and one for wiper. But.... There are some that'll do 70! Even in stock form they're surprisingly quick. Way the heck faster than a Prius in EV mode. No idea what the new ones are like, but they've got to be a BIT more refined than what I've seen.
