    I think you got that backwards 1+0 = 10 (treating + as string concat), and 10 in binary representation is 2.
    Maybe such base games is how one gets 47mpg from a ford, since 47 Octal is 39 Decimal which seems to match your experience;-)

    There you go, now you got it! :) I was just thinking in binary as in IP addressing, the only place where 0 counts as 1. the other posts just have me too confused, so I just threw that out there! LOL
