I am thinking of getting some FR-S/BRZ wheels for my PIP. But, all I have seen are Prii lowered with the wheels. Does anybody have them on a stock Prius? I want to see if it looks bad not lowered. I have done Eibach Pro-Kit springs before on my regular Prius, but don't want to go the lowered route.
They are pretty heavy coming in at 20.1 lbs. The Five wheels seem to be 24 lbs. So, at least they are light than those. What to do.
What size are they? If they are 17", the weights not too bad considering they're bigger & looks pretty good .
What do u need to put stock BRZ wheels on a stock height prius? Someone told me I needed spacers and different lug nuts? Is that true? If so suggestions on the cheapest route. Thanks
@M427747 cheapest route would be lugs and spacers. safer route would be adding a centric ring as well. the new lugs are for clearance. The OEM Prius ones would not touch the bottom because of its diameter. And the reason for the spacer is the caliper clearance. but in your case, I would suggest these: 12M x 1.5 lug nuts: http://a.co/2HJWbQM 5x100 3mm spacers x4: http://a.co/bS15AKA And you can always increase your budget my either getting better Lugs, a centric ring, or Custom Spacers with welded centric ring converters. I went the expensive route. And for concluding purposes, these past 2 years, they're still holding up to the Chicago Winters and my 2-3 times a yr road trips to NJ For more information, we had this long thread a few yrs back, here:
