Oooh. Seems like I always come through there when it is 107 degrees. Hey, snap a picture of the Pawn Shop for me. You know, the one where Chumlee works. Dan
Never been to the Pawn Stars shop, though we'd like to. Nope, not North Las Vegas. We are closer to Summerlin.
Hey, I'm going to Vegas for a week next week for CES. what's a decent motel that I can a room for a week for about $200. I got rooms in the past for $150 a week on Fremont st. but the rooms are questionable. Looking to get a little better room.
Honestly, try some of the online search services as they often have better deals than you can get working directly with the hotels. On or near the strip is either going to be expensive or seedy. There's a Motel 6 off the strip that might work for you. Otherwise, depending on your mobility, you might look at Arizona Charlies.
Tomorrow (errr... today... shutup ) it is forecast to be 43°C here. That's 109°F in your money. Anyone want to swap for the day? The Softex seats are absolutely not as bad as either leather or vinyl in these conditions, but if your back is sweaty when you get in, yeah, that whole thing's just going to be sweat when you get out, air conditioning or not and there ain't a thing you can do about it. They are easier to keep clean, but I do miss my cloth seats around about now.
Piffle, 109? I'll take that over the cold any day. Besides, if we don't get some sun here soon how am I gonna know if my new heat shield works? Fitted it the other day just for fun, and it does look like the best heat shield I've ever seen.
