OK - I think I see the source of the confusion. You are looking at the EV ratio display I posted, which is indeed for a 22 mile round trip. Only problem is that I don't know the mpg values for that trip. I posted that pic because the EV displays had never been reset and were showing low EV ratios because we had the car for 3-4 weeks before I was able to start charging it regularly. The 58mpg was what my wife told me the car got on this morning's commute (11 miles), with the ICE on most of the time. It was kind of cold here this morning and she did use the heater. Car was in EV mode all the way, and it isn't particularly hilly here. I'll get a better handle on usage/mpg etc. tonight. Everything else being equal the total mileage on the display tonight should be about 44 miles, but EV ratio unknown at this point.

I wish I could get 11 EV miles at highway speeds.
When I start up now it displays 9.4EV miles available...

Have you reset either Trip A or Trip B? You can use one of those to see the MPG of all trips since the reset.

No, this is absolutely wrong. The EV ratio works the same way as the calculated mpg on the trip meters, except that it uses its own "trip meters"

There is no one living in his area? If I were closer, I would go check it out myself.

That's pretty bad. It's hard to believe the tires would be allowed to get so squishy. That's very close to what would trigger the warning light (25% below minimum), which indicates being within the danger zone.

I haven't followed this thread at all, since I have no PiP, but I think you feel my pain and frustration from people who complain about poor FE (before the PiP), often giving scant/no details (e.g. "help, my mileage sucks, I'm getting 35 mpg"). I'd have to ask a whole bunch of questions and others might spend time doing the same as well or throwing out a lot of guesses. Sometimes the OP would never return to answer a single one... or there'd be a lot of wasted time going back/forth and the OP would drop off. :(

That was the impetus for Fuel economy complaints/queries? Please copy, paste & answer these questions, esp. if you're new | PriusChat.
