I have a 2011 prius 3 . I would like to swap out my non-nav JBL stereo For one with Nav and add a backup camera . Does anyone know if it's simply plug-and-play?
For the most part, yes. Search for Ottonavi in the forums. Very easy to swap head units and they are great products. The backup camera is a bit of a challenge though.

You wrote, that you purchased Prius week ago, so you purchased the 2012 model year one probably. The facelifted Prius has a different HU than 2010, more integrated with car's info system. Be careful and ask Ottonavi (or others) for compatibility statement.
