I saw these advertised in Popular Merchanics. The take seconds to install and they really are cool. No more metal wipers for me! The entire unit bends and hugs the windshield very well. I used them today in heavy rain and they are excellent. If you want, you can order them on Amazon. You can also view the wiper there too. These are the same type wipers on my friends S class.
I have the Trico Innovision wiper on the passenger side. It does seem to hug the windshield better, but I don't think I'll buy them again. Too expensive.
Just got the front. 426A for the driver's side and 418B for passenger side. They are a little bit expensive but much better than OEM wipers.
Does the Bosch have a replaceable wiper element? I looked at the Trico version and rejected it for two reasons: 1) the rubber wiper edge is not replaceable, it is glued on, so once it wears out, you throw the whole thing away and spend $$$$ on a new one vs. a $2 set of refill rubbers as with regular wipers. 2) the steel spring strip is way too flimsy- not nearly enough spring and *very* easy to bend out of shape (either intentionally or if it got caught in an automatic wash for instance).. The Bosch version looks a bit more sturdy, but I'd only consider them if the rubber wiper could be replaced when worn out..
