Hello, I know the standard warranty for a 2001-2003 Prius is 8 years, 100,000 miles. If you get the hybrid battery replaced with a Toyota OEM battery, is this new battery covered for an additional 8 years or additional 100,000 miles? Or does the "8 years/100K miles" only refer to the car? Thanks, Ben
To the best of my recollection, a new battery has a one year warranty, as does the ReInVolt re-manufactured battery
I still can't find a source on google for my number, or anyone who has replaced a second battery who would know.
