Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

Yes, been checking the account. The dealer recommended that I send another application in. I'll just wait it out for now.

Note that it says 30 business days, which is 6 weeks. Thanksgiving was also a holiday, so basically anything mailed before thanksgiving isn't even supposed to show up at your door until 43 days later.

 

Not so much worried, more like jealous watching all the other PiP's roll by in the carpool lane

 

I feel the same way with other PiPs in car pool Thats why I wish DMV could process it along with the registration and plates. I guess in a week or two traffic will ease due to people on vacation, but then again DMV will also slow down I sent my check around 25th of Nov, so I dont think I should have any hopes of getting it before second week of Jan.

 

Nah, even though I had to wait a month, I prefer it this way. A relative had a Gen I Prius and they never applied for the yellow stickers. She had no use for them for her commute. Her sticker hopefully went to another driver who can use it. Sure, at this rate, we're not likely going to run out of green stickers but one day I might graduate to the white stickers. I have no doubt that they will extend them and impose a limit in the next few years as EV's become more ubiquitous.

 

Well, in overall scheme of things, how many such cases are there? I think it is very small percentage. If it is such an important criteria, you can bump up the fee and dealer can ask the question like 'it costs $50 to get green sticker, do you want it?'. I am not a fan of introducing a delay or bureaucracy just to dissuade people!

 

FINALLY!! Got my stickers yesterday Dec. 7. Checked was cashed Dec. 5. Carpool lane here I come!

Now, about my $1500 rebate....got approval on Oct. 26th but still waiting to see the check.

That one can take a month or two depending on when in their cycle you applied. I think they only cut checks every 6-8 weeks. It could be because of the way they're funded. I suspect that their grant draws interest, so to maximize it, they don't draw it down constantly or maybe they only get funding every other month from the Air Resources Board. I've never figured out exactly how CCSE works, but I've been to a few of their workshops and classes. ARB designated CCSE as administrators for the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project in 2011. And from what I've read, they've awarded about 4700 rebates for about $17m since the current rebate program has been in practice.

They've been around for a relatively short time (1996), but they have a great set-up and operation center here in San Diego with continuous public programs, classes and workshops.

 

Weird, ours got cashed on the same day and you haven't got yours yet?

I already got mine and installed on the car.

 

i just got mine today. i'm getting the 3M door edge guards tomorrow so i guess i'll install both of those things (stickers and edge guards) tomorrow at some point.
btw, my sticker number is 7842.

 

I mailed mine in on 11/13 and still no check showing up as cashed......

 

You'll probably have it in a week. Notice that we got our stickers just 2-3 business days after the check got cashed. You haven't even had a calendar month pass since mailing in the form.

 

I mailed mine end of October and the check didn't get cashed until last week and received the stickers the same week (12/6).

I mailed mine on Nov 8, but my check isn't cashed yet. :'( I am so eager to donate to DMV...

 

I sent my in today 12/11. The wait continues for the check to be cashed.
