The High Priustess recently took away my brass knuckles, nunchucks and pepper spray. I've always hated going to car dealerships, and when I do go, I am prepared for battle. The hair on the back of my neck is standing up, my nostrils are flared, my upper lip taut. But that was before I discovered Priuschat, which led me to Dianne Whitmire at Carson Toyota here in Southern California. Within minutes of meeting Dianne and her excellent assistant, Nathan, I was calm and ready to do a deal. So in late September I purchased a sea glass pearl Prius III, and I love this car. So far this year, calendar year 2012, I have sold 829 vehicles. I'd say that one usually cannot sell that many cars in a little under a year without doing MANY things right -- including selling for less.
i would have to agree with everyone. just got a prius v5 from her last week. could i have gotten it cheaper? probably. but i would rather have a root canal than go through another traditional car buying process and it may very well be in the point of diminishing returns. i was in and out of the dealership in an hour and in time to make it to my dinner appointment.
You fly to LAX, buy the car from Dianne, pocket the savings, visit Disneyland and road trip it home with a new car!
