Just got my 06 Prius. The screen shows that Audio Off. The radio doesn't want to turn on. What could be the issue. 06 Prius with nav, Bluetooth, JBL etc. Everything else seem to work except the radio. Fuse perhaps?
So i swapped the radio unit with my friends car to see if the issue was withing the actual radio unit. Well the sound started working with my friends CD player. Guess my thing is fried. Now I wonder, will a non JBL audio unit work for my car that has a JBL system in it?

you either need a new JBL head unit, or bypass the JBL amp. might be able to use the oe wiring to install an aftermarket amp in place of the JBL. if your not good w/ electronics, better get an expert to do that mod so you don't fry something.
