About once a month, I have lunch with some folks that used to work on our project. Some are retired and others have simply moved on to other gigs. At least six months ago, one friend asked me lots of questions about my (then fairly new) Prius. She wanted to trade in her old Saturn for something more sporty - probably not a Prius. Fast forward to today at lunch and she announced that she had recently bought a 2012 III in dark blue. She looked at a number of other small cars, finding them too small to carry two cat carriers, too little passenger room, and too thirsty (some requiring premium). She said the Prius just made too much sense - especially getting like 53 MPG in her mainly city driving. I happened to mention the lower trunk for use during trips and she didn't know about it. After lunch we went to her car. We opened the lower trunk and she loaded it up with some of her martial arts gear. I told her about PC so I hope she'll join us. Welcome Theo!
Yay! That's odd... I guess her salesman must not've given her a very thorough overview at delivery. I'd figure she'd spot it if the salesman pointed out to her the spare tire.
