Here's my C in the snow during the nor'easter on Long Island (November 7th): And powering my heat, lights, phone and internet a couple of days later:
We had a very scenic snow day in the North East yesterday. Big puffy flakes but no accumulation. Kind of like being inside a snow globe.
So pretty! I'm about as sure as a weatherman that we're going to get a good snow this year here in NC. It's been a couple years since our last!
Love the kitty! Great snow pics from everyone, too. I don't do snow. If we get snow here this year, I'll either call in absent or the boss will have to come get me (as i've had to do twice in the 12 years i've lived here). I grew up in Southern California where snow was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. First time it snowed here in Vegas, and I could hear the brakes squealing and metal crashing out on the main street, I decided right then and there that there was no way I would ever drive in the snow. Too chicken of myself, even more paranoid about the inexperience of all the drivers around me.
That was actually a very friendly feral which is now at the animal shelter waiting to be adopted (we already have a bunch of inside cats).
