I cant help but notice now that I own a Prius, how many other Prius I see on the road!! But what I noticed is (theres a Nissan dealer a few miles from my home so there are quite a few Nissans here and there driving around) that the Nissan Sentra looks a little like the Gen 2 Prius! Starting from the headlights all the way to the clear tail lamps on the Prius, even the roof line. Am I crazy or do you see the resemblance too?
Its thrown me off a few times!! The first time I saw one, I thought "hmmm look at that Prius up there with the custom cool looking tail lights"
Tons of cars are looking like the Prius. Why? Because it is a very efficient shape, and changing the shape of the vehicle improves the fuel efficiency without doing anything. It is a freebie.
Maybe to the very first Prius on the road? The shape was shocking to me.... not the one I love right now...
A good friend of mine drives an Insight... he tried to convince me to get one too but I never once considered it The Insight isn't nearly as pretty as the Prius even though they do look similar.
The Insight interior is no as refined as the Prius and the mileage is lower. The Acura ILX hybrid interior is nice.
I would expect the interior of an Acura to be nice! I need to make a lot more money though before I'll be able to afford one of those babies. iPad ? HD
Love your optimism! I am very happy with my Prius though. That Nissan posted by the OP doesn't hold a candle to our Prii!
