Do you think there will be wiring already in the door for the JDM signal mirrors so if I was to buy them it would be fairly easy? I saw an older forum about the 2nd gen. and it sounded to be a pain. Love the look, don't understand why they wouldn't put them on here. Safety first. LOL. Suppose we may have to wait until they get here and some people do some deeper investigating.
Running a wire from the mirror to your signal hot leads should be cake, but I don't expect that the car will be prewired for the mirrors.
Perhaps not, but if we're lucky, we'll have a harness plug w/ the right holes that only need wires with ends plugged into them. The trend in this car though has been plastic plugs in the unused holes (noted under the hood where fog lamp wiring could have possibly been).
The aftermarket mirrors seem to be working well so far, the wirring was as noted a pain but worth it. I'm told these are JDM parts but I don't think they are.
LOL! Ya seriously. Holy cow. This has certainly been solved now. Striker must have been digging deep to come across this one.
