Backlit Toyota Emblem- Need help removing emblems

    Hi Guys,
    Just ordered the EL wire to backlight my emblems, cannot believe how much a lit emblem costs so I'm planning on making them. Once I make them I'll post up some photos and if anyone would like one made for you I'll be happy to help out! You could mail me your emblem or I can pick up from for the dealer and install the backlight and ship them out. Parts for front and back cost about 30$, I'd have no problem doing them for 40-45$ to help out anyone who doesn't feel confident tackling this by themselves.
    So here's my problem:
    To any of you who have removed the front and rear emblems on your prius', how do they come off? I don't really want to snap any plastic by experimenting, so if anyone knows please let me know!

    I am not expert on this, but I thought I remembered something about people using dental floss to remove them. I know I read it somewhere on PC. I think it had something to do with debadging a car.

    I've used floss to remove glued on badged, but these have clips. Found a how to for the front, but does anyone know to what extent I have to disassemble the rear hatch to pop the rear one out?

    I removed both, front you can get behind from under the hood and the rear pops off if you use floss or the tip of a knife. I bought an LED for the front form j-mall on e-bay for $6.99

    Don't disassemble the rear, just use a credit card from the side of the emblem and push toward the middle.
