There aren't any rear bar on xB. TRD xB is the same size as Prius 22.4mm. Difference? Red.

xB does have thicker front bar, 26mm vs 24 on Prius, which should give 38% stiffness improvement.

How much of negative effect did RSB have on ride quality if rated from 0-10?

When I upgraded rear sway by on my Subaru (20 to 24mm), I did not think that it led to any noticeable degrade in ride quality, but having more over steer made driving more fun. It, however, did degrade ride quality when I upgraded FSB.

I installed a TRD rear anti-sway bar (the white one) on my PiP last month. I agree that the install is easy enough with adequate tools on hand, and I appreciate the Zip Tie tip in the OP's instructions. With a hydraulic lift available, the install would have been very easy and would take less than one hour (I didn't wait for a local lift to be available).

After almost four weeks, incl. two out-of-state trips, I like the car's new handling through corners. The car also feels just a bit more bouncy in the rear at times, but more as a new more complex feeling than an unpleasant suspension behavior.

Only install slip-up: the photocopied instructions mention measuring the alignment of the two bar bushings a certain exact distance from existing suspension brackets on the car before snugging up the bushing bolts. I can't remember the specific measurement, but I do remember getting within less than 1/4 inch difference between the left and right sides and that I accepted that as "good enuf". Well, ever since my evening driveway install last month, the front of the car tracks very slightly to the left at highway speeds. My son noticed it as well during our recent out-of-state trip.

The next time I have the car up on a lift for a future mod, I'll re-check and realign the bushings on the bar for exact Swiss-precision specified distances and see if that solves the new leftward tracking of the car.

Is the TRD anti-sway bar worth it? If the roughly $270 price doesn't bother you, then the mod is worth it because of the tracking improvement through corners, especially with the PWR button engaged :)

Been thinking about this install myself... I just noticed that Toyota's description for the sway bar part now includes the following:

Requires Replacement End Links Service Kit PTR11-47011 for sway bar installation

Although everything I've read seems to indicate that the sway bar (part # PTR11-47010) actually does comes with everything necessary, including the end links. Can anyone confirm one way or the other? There seems to be a pretty significant price difference, since the end links alone cost another $50-$75.

The TRD bar comes with the end links. I had the dealer order both items last month, and when the parts guy and I checked on pickup, the bar box (#47010) had the end links inside, so Toyota took the separate end link package back. Note: the parts guy at 1st didn't know himself whether the end links come with the bar, when I placed the order. So, all you need is #47010.
