I am new to the Prius and have noticed that when cruising the car seams to surge or pulse while driving. Is this normal? Thanks
yes, it's just the ice kicking on and off and the regen doing the same. you'll get used to it quickly.
I am not complaining I am averaging low 80's when I have a full charge on my 32 mile commute home. The numbers are lower on the way to work. It is nice to get a free charge at work too .
Initially, I was really worried about this as well, considering this type of behavior in any other car means transmission problems, but you do get used to it eventually.
