I just got an email from Toyota with a MSRP of $169 for an update to my 2010 Prius iV...is there anyone out there who's bitten the bullet on this? I don't use the Nav system much and don't use the maps much either- but might consider updating if it brought other enhancements to the JBL system.
The updates do not typically include any audio enhancements, just map and POI updates. You can check with your dealer though. Your dealer should give you a file with all of the updates so you can decide.
The email I received shows that it's discounted to $139 right now. After 3 years, I will be getting an update. I figure that's long enough.
My email said it was $139 for version 11.x and it was $169 for 12.x....I guess you could upgrade to last years maps for $30 less. Are you sure you read the email right?
