I have just purchased a Prius V with the AT package. I also am in the market for a new cell phone. The salesperson at the dealership indicated that the Android phones hook up with less complications to the AT package features than do the iPhones. Also, I am finding that the maps in the Prius system are not as accurate as my husband has on his Google maps..so that would be another reason to go Android. Anyone have any advice?? Thanks! PS: I love this car!!
I've got a Samsung Galaxy SII and have never had a single problem with my phone linking with my "V." I only allow it to link with the phone, not audio, so I can't vouch for that.
My iphone 5 doesn't answer calls properly with the Prius V model 5 non ATP version. Very frustrating.
Just one other note: this evening I discovered that "Messaging" does indeed work with my phone and the Prius. I received a text message, and the system was able to read it aloud to me, and gave me the options for a number of "stock" replies while the vehicle was in motion.
what do you mean by that? Someone reported an issue here, where they don't get any audio and on that thread it is stated as a Apple issue. Do you have a Display Audio with Nav system or the Premium HDD Nav?
