Has anyone repainted their rear spoiler? Or if there are deep scratches do you just need to replace it?

There are a couple people here that have. They had to repainted to match the rest of the car. If I were going to do it anyway, I would do the same. The stock black spoiler scratches easily.

My spoiler got chipped by hitting the garage door when I opened it. I bought black Toyota #202 touch up paint at Auto Zone and it matched perfectly and looks very good.

If you don't like the black & are determined to paint it then I vote to paint it to match the body. If you just want to get rid of the white then the 202 Black is the way to go. I had the same result as car78412.

I like the black. But it apparently scratches easily. And mine has some pretty deep scratches right now. I am thinking I will just paint it to match the body color.

The black plastic scratches easily. Even washing you can see the swirl marks or anything. Painting it is better than the black plastic. What color is your Prius?

Mine too. I've been looking for some kind of molding like those Black door edge protectors. At this point I don't cae as long as it's functional. You would think someone would realize the problem and manufacture something on that order. HEY, SOMEONE ARE YOU LISTENING?

The exact same thing happened to me. My husband stopped by the dealer and came home with a little paint pen (not sure what it's called) and applied it. It doesn't look perfect, but it's only noticeable to those of us (me) who know where to look. ;)
