Last half-tank fill up (just this morning, as a matter of fact) was 58.4 MPG overall, but again that's with drivers 2 and 3 sucking down my numbers!

I'm hoping my last fill-up will be some years in the future.

Even though I don't see the point of listing one's most recent filling, I'll play along in the spirit of, well, ... don't know.

Most recent - 58.1 and average of 10 most recent - 58.4. Average over 17,024 miles - 56.7. Calculated, not indicated. Indicated readings average a couple MPG optimistic.

    Because it's FUN.

Seriously, I know that many of the questions I (and others) ask could be answered in an impersonal way ... I could (try to) look it up in the manual, I could do an internet search. I prefer to post questions here as it gives me input from multiple viewpoints in one handy forum, and because it allows me to interact with my fellow C owners.

What I meant to indicate is that there doesn't seem to be any more significance to one's most recent fill-up as apposed to the one before that or the one before that or the one before that.

I love to have fun and to interact as well, but when I waste time I at least try to convince myself that I'm learning something or REALLY having a fun time. Just sayin'. :) So, I've got some extra time today, obviously.

Well, luckily we all have a choice in the threads we respond to!

Good idea to post a ambient temperature crebble.

I'll be more careful in the future! It's presently 75 F here in central Texas and I had string cheese and an apple for lunch!

Yes my display is in KM/L, It can't be changed. The funny thing is, I prefer L/100km as it is easier to estimate your fuel usage for long journey this way without taking out a pocket calculator.
( a trip of 380km, so if 4L/100km it is pretty easy do multipy 4x4 and get an estimate of 16L for the trip, With KM/L, if you're getting 25KM/L, you will have to divide 380 by 25 and round that up to get an estimate of fuel used)

Maybe we can trade the ECU (assuming there is where Toyota fixes mpg, km/l or l/km) :D

Now, I prefer km/l because the opposite reasons than you: my trips are usually shorter than 20 kms so it is easier to estimate how much gas was used. My Prius usually gets 23 km/l .(displayed as 4,4 l/100 km) so 20 km is about 0.9 lts

Miakaka, since we are so so far away, trading ECU is risky biz :p we might end up with a non-working C together hehehe.

Since u said you're getting 23km/l i think this is the average for our C eh, because when driving it without a care for FE and special techniques I get between 22-23 km/l too (49-54MPG) for tank average. I did try the super savvy driving last week, doing only 65-80kmh in rural roads and about 200+ highways sticking it between 90-110kmh, and i get a nice 869km for 29L of fuel huhuhuhu thats 29KM/l or 68MPG or 3.4L/100kms. The car though was showing a tank average of only 28KM/L, maybe i did not refill it properly as it was a different station and i refill until first click everytime. But I can't really care if there is a 1 L diff :p NONE of my car or any previously owned car can do this kakaka.

Well I took my brothers 1.3L Proton last week too, fill it up to full and drive for 487kms and refuel to top at 32Liters and I said to myself damn you gas guzzler, and to think my bro said his car was fuel savvy, my C gets double the miles for the same fuel burnt hihihi, yet I am still thinking on how to get more FE.

It looks like the Prius C is taking a hit in mpg's during the winter just like the regular Prius.
My last tank was 48.6 calculated. In summer mpg's were normally in the low 50's mpg
    calculated.

Just filled up for the first time since purchasing. I waited until the last bar on the gauge was blinking, actually drove another 5 miles. It took 8.6 gals of gas I had 480 miles on the tank so I got 55+ MPG driving mostly hwy, ( my commute to work is 35 miles each way, in the AM I am driving 65 mph, in the evening it's bumper to bumper (20-50 mph). I am pretty impressed!

Longest day trip yet for me (yeah I know, still not saying much), visiting my brother in the mountains... elevation and speed profile from a GPS log is below.

The car's reported values for the day were:
    Average Speed: 61 km/h (37.9 mph)
    Driving Time: 4h 25m
    EV: 17% 44.5km (27.7 miles)
    Indicated consumption: 3.8 l/100km (61.9 mpg)

    20121118_GPSlog_profile.jpg

The drive home starting from the 96.5 mile point was fun - when I hit the bottom of the slope at 134 miles the car briefly showed 1.9 l/100km (123.8 mpg) for that 37.5 mile stretch, but by the time I stopped at the 148 mile point the average for the 51.5 miles had climbed up to 2.7 l/100km (87.1 mpg).
No particular economy efforts made and I used cruise control whenever possible. The a/c was on most of the time (in ECO mode) and outside temperatures were between 20-26 C (68-79 F). Pleased to see the hills did not kill the car or the fuel economy.

    Wife driving average: 28 km/l (65.8 mpg)
    Me Driving average: 30 km/l (70.5 mpg)
    Best 100km round trip: 37.2 km/l (87.5 mpg)

2,200 km to date. Indicated vs. calculated is a wash. First fill-up was a tad higher, second was a tad lower. Both times were very close.
