Does anyone know why my car starts up automatically with 99 MPG on the display? It doesn't do this all the time but when it does it seems as of my "average" mpg for the trip isn't accurate because as I drive it takes the average from 99 and not starting from 0.
It's just because you started driving before the ICE came on. Any time you drive using just the electric motor, you're getting "infinite" mpg, which is displayed as 99.9. It's not throwing off your mileage.
