My 2012 prius i bought crashed in front and the plug broke at the connection point. I need a picture of the plug in connector so I can rewire it properly. right now the car wont go into park because of this issue. Thanks
You probably need to go to the online Toyota TIS (technical information system), pay the $15 for a two day session and go through the electrical diagrams to make sure you get the correct connector.
Tran shifter motor in Prius? Without exact plug position or picture (better) we could not help you. Jdc5 is right about TIS subscription.
Thanks guys. I actually went to look at another prius to see the order and color of wires. I replaced the shifter park controller and now can get the car in park and N but thats it. I cant get it into D or R or even start. More problems ahead I guess.
I didnt replace the shifter in the car but the part that goes on the front of the transmission that senses the position. Im really not sure what it does.
