Has anyone installed the 2013 8 Way Power passenger seat in a 2010 with power lumbar seat only? I was going to order one from the dealer but they say it will not fit. The wiring is all different.
I started looking into converting from manual to power when I was buying my 2012. At the time, their wasn't any parts info online to compare parts differences between the two. I asked the parts guy, but he was less than helpful. I have to believe, if you have the right mechanical parts, that it should interchange fine. The wiring may be different as noted, but it should be able to be overcome by just running power to the seat. If you just want lumbar and not the additional power adjustments, I would look into an aftermarket lumbar solution.
I already have the power lumbar in my 2010. I want to change it out for the 8 way seat which did not become available until the 2013 model came out.
