Boch Toyota is probably the biggest Toyota dealership in the Northeast, so they are able to "buy in bulk" and offer the lowest prices on vehicles.
My local Toyota dealer has an advertised special on the 2012 Base model for $30,852 + ttl. That is before any incentives (like the $1,500 from TFS). It's on their website Toyota New Car Specials - San Diego California area Toyota dealer near San Diego California - New and Used Toyota dealership serving Carlsbad El Cajon Kearny Mesa California. Is this a good price for SoCal?
They have terrible reviews on Google though. A rating of a 7/30 Update: I gave them a try. So far they have the best price and best trade in price. Looks like that's how I'm going with! Hopefully will be going up on Sat.

I just checked with shipping from BOCH TOYOTA which they won't do. I have to get my own shipper if i buy at their price. Cost of shipping $1301. With T&L and lack of trade-in it wont be worth buying from them even at that price. My dealer here will take my PriusC trade-in and PIP OTD 32k
Seems like dealers are in dealing mode. Anyone know when the 2013 models hit lots? The good prices may simply be discounting to clear out the model year end inventory. Based on my past experiences, dealer discounts on model year end stock never quite make up for the depreciation hit you will still take by paying a "new" price on a one year old car.
I put my 500 dollar deposit down to hold, but here is the current deal. Ill update on Monday when I finalize in person: 1. Purchase Price: 38264 including destination and 349 doc fee 2. Invoice if known: 40510 [MSRP] 3. Sticker: ??? 4. Model (advanced or standard): Silver: Advanced w/mats Trade in value: TBD: quoted between 10-11k for 2006 Acura TL with 107k miles 5k toyota incentive + 2500 Tax rebate + 2246 off sticker: Total savings: 9746 0% financing Dealer: Boch in Mass.
Michigan isn't slated to start getting the 2013 Plug-In until sometime the middle of next year, and nationwide availabilty by 2014
10 days ago Toyota announced the 2013 pricing for the entire line-up of Prius: Toyota | Pricing Announced For 2013 Prius, Prius v and Prius Plug-In Although Michigan was not a launch state, I called the guy at Toyota listed under the release and he confirmed that the 2013 Prius are coming real soon to California. Hope they can reach Michigan and nationwide asap!
Just an FYI: Akil Karim over at Torrance Toyota is offering plug in (1235) base model for $29,764 before TFS rebate....
Thats pretty good, that is pretty close to 2k below invoice. Max I have seen in NorCal is 1500 below for costco members.
I was hoping that TFS provides higher incentive for advanced model, but doesn't seem like they'll do. I have talked to few dealers here, none are ready to add anything more for advanced.
Seems like a great price for SoCal. Remember: $29,674 - $1,500 TFS - $2,500 Fed tc - $1,500 CVRP = $24,174 + ttl $26k broken. Are these things not selling well or something?
Hah, I'm talking about 26k before state and federal incentives. with those incentives, WVa has broken 26k a long long time ago. Hell, even I have, and that was almost a month ago now.
