Avg mile per gallon on the display dashboard

    Hi was trying to familiarize myself with the buttons on my 2012 prius the night before and noticed that the "Avg mile per gallon" is no longer on the display dashboard the next day... i tried to re-trace the thing i did but unsuccessful.. Can someone advice? Thanks

    You need to cycle through the 'Display' button on the steering wheel to get back to the screen with the mpg info..

    Thanks for the pic ny_rob... see instead of "CONS." the displays says "GAS PRICES"... i did cycle through the 'Display on the steering wheel but don't know what option to change...

    okay, you're in a programming mode where you input gas price. we don't have that on pip, not sure how to get out.

    Go into your display settings and there's an option for CONS.

    Cycle through "DSPLY" on your steering wheel controls until your MFD displays "settings" along with the date. Now press and hold "DSPLY" until you can adjust your settings. From there there should be a few options for you and pressing and holding "DSPLY" takes you into each submenu. Quickly pressing either "DSPLY" or the one below it (I can't look at my car right now so I don't know what it's called) will cycle through your current options.

    From there you can find the option to change from Gas Price to Cons.
