Just got my stickers! Actually, I probably had them for a week. I just found the DMV envelope stuck between the pages of a magazine that was delivered about a week ago. It's a good thing I didn't toss it without reading... need to talk to my mail carrier.... My check was cleared on 1/3/06, stickers were issued 1/4/06, envelope stamped by Sacramento 1/5/06. Sticker number 0429XX. So there is still plenty of "room" left before you start worrying, but make sure you shake every piece of mail.

Notes to self: 1) Keep breathing. 2) No, really, keep breathing! 3) Check bank website to know when check gets cashed. 4) Obsessively check through every piece of mail that comes in after that! B) I'm sure I've thrown out mail before when it was stuck between stuff like that.
