Hi Guys, I'm looking to buy a new 2012 Prius 2 by next week. The lowest price I received from the dealer is 22.8k + TTL. Is this a good price? I'm not adding any optional features... Please give me your opinion. Thank you, febz.
That was the price I got on a blizzard pearl in August during the Labor Day sale, but wasn't ready to buy. A month later when I was, I got another dealer down to $23,700 + TTL. (I didn't go back to the original dealer because I wanted dark grey interior and they didn't have a car in stock with that.) I say go for it!
So this Monday I got the new 2012 Prius 2 for 22.8K + TTL Black color... No extended warranty or anything... Planning to do full tint as well...
febz who did you go to in the chicago area? I've gotten several quotes online and visited Oaklawn, and Western Toyota dealerships. I got 22.9 + TTL too so far. I got an online quote from another for 21.4 (all these for a 2012 Prius 2) but I'm not sure if that was fat fingered.
I decided a month ago to purchase a Prius & started searching for the best price in earnest this week. On a new 2012 Prius 2 the best price so far is $22.9k +TTL. I've been in two dealers, and emailed/ spoke with about five others. I'd thought they be a tad more negotiable. The 0% financing they're offering on the remaining 2012's is what moved me from a used to a new Prius... Before I pull the trigger next week - I'd like to know if anyone in the Chicagoland area been able to get a better price recently?
