The Off/On values are all wrong. It seems Torque uses different way to represent MSB and LSB. MSB is rep. as {P:0} and LSB is rep. as {P:7}. Changed and logged again.. The binary values did not appear to change, so I should also point out that I made sure to delete then re-select these log entries in the app (Settings -> Data Logging and Upload -> Select what to log) because changes to the PIDs don't automatically carry over to logging. Without this step, Torque would continue to log the old equation(s).
Your log2 showed VL (should be the current SMR status) with values changed from 0 -> 10 -> 12 -> 0, so it should be a non-zero response. If you divide by 2 and convert to binary, you should see bit 0, bit 1 and bit 2 change state. I don't know why you are getting zero for all the binary values. A few things to check: Make sure the curly brackets {} are correct, not (), <> or []. Make sure your Torque version has the latest update. Vincent

Vincent, Been out of town last week and little busy around here right now (building battery pack for PRIUS II PHEV install ). But hopefully will get some time to take a closer look. Before i left was happy that with the PID updates supplied now seeing all the correct responses from the HV Battery in the RX400h. Also the MGr PIDs were added and looked basically OK BUT the PRIUS II PIDs for MGI and MGII did not seem to be giving correct values. Maybe we need a syncpoint/checkpoint right now on which PIDs look OK and which appear to be incorrect so we all agree what further analysis is required. Paul

If anyone is still following this old post, I'd like to thank the contributors, especially Frenchie for compiling this vrey useful information, especially the chart. I've never owned a Hybrid before and am unsure about battery monitoring. I have an IBDLink and TorqurePro to monitor my F359 6.0. I imputed all the parameters in the chart and have TorquePro working on my 2008 Lexus RX400H. Next comes the learning curve, understanding what it all means. I get voltage, but Internal Resistance? Is a low number better than high?
