So.. Prius' have a Model and Package? How do you know what model you have ? I was thinking they were one in the same...
In '06 there was the normal Prius with 15" wheels which you probably have. There was also a Touring Edition with 16" wheels, a slightly modified rear suspension, and a bigger spoiler. Not all of the packages listed above by Ursle were available with the Touring Edition. I do not remember the term model being used at all. I think PC started using it when the Gen III (2010 year model) came out because, in addition to the different option packages, there were versions I, II, III, IV and V (now called one through five).
I just looked at this vin decoder 7 while it is cool, could not tell about the package based on the vin. Am I missing something. http://www.shoptrd.com/stores/pdfs/toyotavindecode2010.pdf. ;-( And yes, I am new & yes, I read the intro & while it is thorough, I can't say I understand a lot of the tips...
Probably the NL Package is what you have 2G Prius (2004-2009) Standard and Optional Equipment (Some Countries) | PriusChat
