Software in Prius

    Where/how is software stored in the Prius? I do not find a dvd drive under the seats like some earlier models. I have a 2012 Prius model 3. I am concerned with Entune software, navigation data and other software.

    What information I have gleaned is that the updates are distributed as an ISO file. In the PC world this is an image file that is loaded into the computer.

    Can any of you provide any enlightenment?

    A couple months ago I received an Entune update on a USB thumb drive. Haven't applied it, as I don't have a cellular data subscription to make use of Entune.

    This may help. iOS 6 does require the Entune App to be deleted and re-downloaded.
