The non-hybrids are on lots now around here. Never saw a report of the hybrid being available a remarkable time after those, and it appears the website will take orders. The only news on later introductions was with the Energis.
Well I know I want the Hybrid.. the body and more importantly the interior room should be the same for all the different types... I'm looking to see if the backseat is roomy enough for my kids... if it is it will go a long way toward my decision..
good point, and mechanically, it only gets better in the hybrid. at least, that's how the camry is. although, the hycam trunk is smaller than regular camry due to batteries.
yeah.. I'm going tomorrow and see how the family "fits" in it.. with the Frontier my "big" boy (6' 275lbs) is like a sardine in the back seat... hoping the over 38" leg room on the FFH will be adequate.
Darn you bisco!!!!! Dude I am struggling with this decision already.... Going back and forth.... Test drive today.
Test drive went real well today.. wife and kids LOVE the vehicle...here is a pic I have the salesman researching the "Titanium Hybrid" package for me tomorrow... looks like I may actually dive in.
thanks bisco.. I really think this may finally be it.. LOL.. I'll keep ya posted.. Got the salesman checking on the new "Titanium Fusion" package... if it has all the bells and whistles I want....
Bought a '13 FFH today. 505A package, Moonroof, tech package, park assist(Used it once in the Flex), Adaptive Cruise Control, Nav, driver assist package. One SWEET ride, and in my fav color Blue! It drives different from the 2010, so it will take me a while to learn its sweet spot, best I could do today over the first 80 miles is 38 MPG, but it was cold and VERY windy too. The pedal is very touchy, a tad too much and you were on ICE. The Eco Cruise though works pretty good, and did a pretty decent job keeping it in EV. I traded a 2012 F150 Ecoboost in for it, so we are now a 2 hybrid Family. Good luck in your search for your fav ride. I didnt see Titanium listed yet under the build options, and may be a Job II build, which happens around Feb or March. The only thing in the titanium line would be the Sony system, and the standard one is not as bad as I thought it would be, not as crisp and bassy as the Sony, but its good enough for me. The 2010 is still our main car, and I love the Sony in it.
Should have 3000 miles on it by the end of the week, so should have a better handle on what it gets for MPG.
And I made it home a couple hours ago. My sig says it all. Sh****y! I tried various speeds, from 55 t0 75, using the Eco Cruise, I did worse without it. Best is between 55 and 65, 38, worst is 75 at 33. Another thing that slews the graph, the gas tank, if you stop at the first click and top it immediately, it clicks off quickly, if you wait about a minute, you can add at least another half gallon. This is why some tanks show 40 and some show 30. With such a small tank, a half gallon makes a huge difference. I drove at least 200 miles at 62 MPH and got 98 miles EV, and only returned 38 MPG. End result though, only 36 MPG total since day one. Going in next week and dont want it back until it gets better MPG than my 2010, otherwise, dont bother calling.
