At some point, in all models, they have to stop building 2012 models in every car and shift production to the next model year. When they make no changes at all, it's called a carryover model. This is a carryover. No changes.

Not yet. Late next week they will start production of the 2013's in all v wagons, PHEVs and liftbacks. No changes other than adding the sea glass pearl color to the v wagon and the limited production model for the regular liftback in a middle grade model (a III) with a special edition type set of options and one new color designed for this edition in a deep purple-red metallic we used to call Black Cherry) ...
So there is no reason to wait for 2013 PiP vs buying 2012 PiP now? Or will the 2012 price drop when the 2013's come out, same as with non-carryovers?
