just in case there are any fellow drummers out there, my 4 piece drum kit with a 16x22 bass drum will fit comfortably in a Prius C. Perfect for long drives to far away gigs. A great car.
Me too, I can get this Vintage 1964 Ludwig Hollywood kit into my 2012 Prius II. Takes a lot of planning though and there is NO room left over! Glad I'm retired from regular performances. BTW - Many years ago, I was able to fit a four piece Rogers drum set into my old Corvair Corsa - and that was hard packing job too.
Nice kit, when i first moved to LA from NYC, i bought a 280zx, actually got my kit in that car with the kick in the front seat. Not fun
