Spotify w/ Entune

    I'm about to get a Prius 4, 2012 with Entune. Does it support Spotify?

    Also, while doing my test drive, I noticed that when I plugged in my iPhone to it, I couldn't actually control anything on my iPhone. I feel more comfortable using my iPhone as an interface than the Prius controls -- I'm sure that others here might agree... What if I just want to plug it in for charging, but not actually connect it as an accessory, can I do that?

    You can use the Aux Power plug inside the center console or under the shifter to charge your iPhone.

    It doesn't support spotify at the moment. Only Pandora, but that's the joy of having a smartphone.

    Bluetooth is most convenient, but not 100% sure itll work with Spotify. USB, next best way. Again, not sure if itll work with Spotify. Aux cord in the center arm rest will work for sure.

    bluetooth works with google music about 90% of the time...=)

    Spotify works with Bluetooth.

    Fantastic- Thanks everyone! I guess the real question I had is "can I charge my phone" without the screen saying "Dock Connector connected" -- I ONLY want it to charge, I don't want the Prius to basically "take over" my phone interface

    just get a car charger for it then, instead of using the usb.
